Well, Doesn't look like I'll be going into business anytime soon. Or at least I won't be converting the Memorial Center into a field. More information came in and it's WAY too cost prohibitive to try. Unless I win $40 million in the lotto and can buy the land it won't happen. I doubt the city would sell.

Last weekend Carrie and Logan decided to decorate for Christmas. I'd rather decorate 7 days before the big day and take it all down before the first week of the new year is over. I hate the cluttered feeling of having things decked out. Add to the fact we have low ceilings and I keep bumping into things....

Carrie's got some minor rib problems again. not sure if she cracked or bruised things the other day but her right side is swollen and tender. She's also had problems with her period again. She's never been regular and uses birth control to regulate it. The thing is it either doesn't work or it does for a year and then stops. Her body seems to adapt to it. She's been on 4 or 5 versions of the pill, all with different chemical compositions and has now been on the patch for a little over a year. It too has stopped working, she'd had her period now for about a month. The only "good" thing is it hasn't been as heavy as normal for her.

Carrie called her gyno yesterday to try and make an appointment. With the "snow storm" we had there were plenty of cancellations. Now Carrie has to call the hospital by the end of the week to set up a date for surgery. She's going to get a partial hysterectomy. That should end the problem once and for all.

Logan is driving me nuts lately. I know he doesn't mean to but it seems like he's doing everything he can to tick me off. Logan has always been attached to me. Doesn't matter where I go he follows. Carrie can be standing next to him at the refrigerator and he'll ask ME if I can get him a drink. Sometimes it makes me want to bash my skull in with a hammer.

This past Friday Carrie and I went to the Cataraqui Town Center to do our Christmas shopping for each other. I picked up a few things for her I know she'll like and she THINKS she knows what they are. I've neither confirmed or denied her suspicions.

Logan's school had a school store set up for the first time this year. It's a great little program. The school sets up a couple of days and some space to allow the younger kids to buy presents for friends and family. They were expected to earn their own money for this. Parents help list who they were to buy gifts for and a maximum amount for each person. Gifts range in price from $0.50 up to $15.00. They got to pick things out on their own and learn about budgeting money too. Today his teacher will be helping them wrap everything.

My back is starting to hurt again. Nowhere near as bad as in February thankfully. I've had to shovel the driveway 3 times now and will probably have to do it again soon. It kind of sucks living in the basement and having our own entrance since no-one else will shovel down to our door. It wouldn't be too bad if it weren't a 4 car driveway. What sucks even more is the fact we don't have a car. The bitch and he boyfriend on the second floor don't have car either but they have more vehicles show up as company in a week than any one else in the building does for a year and they DON'T shovel. Yet they have the fucking nerve to say we're inconsiderate if we leave our door open when we go to check the mail? Maybe I'll be lucky this Christmas and Santa will give 'em some really bad pot, bad enough it kills them, or that Social Services finds out they are defrauding the system.
